January 14, 2026 | Stamford, Connecticut. JMW is pleased to announce that Nigel Gorbold has joined the firm as Executive Vice President, Americas, strengthening JMW’s leadership team and expanding its ability to support clients pursuing complex growth and capital programs across global energy and infrastructure markets.

Nigel brings nearly two decades of experience advising CEOs and executive teams across energy, power, and large-scale infrastructure, with a career spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is known for helping leadership teams turn bold ambition into executable strategy—ensuring ownership, alignment, and impact at scale.
In his role at JMW, Nigel will partner closely with senior leaders navigating complex investments, organizational transformation, and growth initiatives across the United States and Canada. His work focuses on aligning strategy, leadership, and execution across capital-intensive environments, including energy infrastructure, offshore operations, power generation, and industrial projects.
Prior to joining JMW, Nigel advised executive teams at an energy analytics and consulting firm, supporting M&A transactions, commercial due diligence, market studies, and large-scale capital programs across both public and private investments.
Earlier in his career, he held global leadership roles with Schlumberger, leading teams across the North Sea, Continental Europe, the Middle East, Deepwater West Africa, and North American basins—experience that shaped his pragmatic, execution-oriented approach to leadership and delivery.
Reflecting on his decision to join the firm, Nigel shared:
“I’m thrilled to join JMW at a time when global energy demand and infrastructure investment are accelerating. Throughout my career working across energy and critical infrastructure, I’ve seen firsthand how leadership alignment and execution make the difference between ambitious plans and delivered results. JMW’s legacy of helping organizations think bigger, move faster, and fully own their outcomes is exactly where I want to invest my experience.”
Nigel’s appointment reinforces JMW’s continued commitment to helping leaders set bold ambition, align their organizations behind it, and deliver results that create lasting competitive advantage.
